Apartments are Cool!
Ibiza One Two Three loves apartments They just make such good sense. For the rental market they are perfect, especially those located within roughly a fifteen minute drive to the chic and bustling beachside town of Santa Eulalia. This tends to be an area that Ibiza’s all-year-round residents chose to live. From the legendary boho village of San Carlos in the north, taking in Es Canar, Santa Eulalia itself, Siesta and Cala Llonga, all the way to the super high end development of Roca Lisa and village of Jesus, this lovely coastal area offers some incredibly desirable apartment options. Ibiza town is of course also a fabulous hot spot for renting and on-selling with ease.
Starting with studios for happy singletons at the entry level, up to fantastic 3 and 4 bed penthouses complete with roof terraces and panoramic ocean views, almost all apartments are sold with maintenance contracts in place for the building complex common areas and as the title deeds are so crystal clear, legal issues don’t generally arise.
Whereas traditional fincas may be totally adorable, they sometimes can come with their own set of issues – anything from grossly underestimated maintenance costs, illegal additions that make it hard to get finance or re-sell (often a garage, swimming pool or extension won’t have been correctly planned for), unacceptable humidity in the Winter months or issues with zoning for very rural properties, those looking for an easy way into, and ultimately a profitable and painless exit out of Ibiza’s property market would be wise to consider well located apartments.
